Where to stay

Where to Stay

Three options, all bookable now. The island is small and September weekends go quickly.

Watercolour map of Fire Island, with the Great South Bay and the Bay Shore ferry terminal along the top and the Atlantic along the bottom. Ocean Beach, Seaview and Ocean Bay Park run left to right along the island, with the weekend's venues, ferry terminals and places to stay numbered one to eleven and listed in a legend beneath. Walking and cycling times are marked along the shore: one minute from the Ocean Beach ferry to Maguire's and The Palms, twelve minutes on foot or four by bike from Seaview to Ocean Beach, and twenty-five minutes on foot or seven by bike from Ocean Bay Park.

Houses & rentals

Best if you are coming as a group.

Our list
We have put together a few places we like the look of across the three villages. A starting point, not an endorsement — we have not stayed in any of them.
Worth knowing
Splitting a house is usually cheaper and nicer than rooms.
